About ZAZ

French singer-songwriter Zaz—aka Isabelle Geffroy—has filtered classic jazz and cabaret styles through modern production touches to become an international pop star. ∙ Thanks to the hits “Je veux” and “Le long de la route,” her 2010 self-titled debut topped the charts in France, Belgium, and Poland. ∙ Zaz contributed vocals to the track “Cœur Volant” on the Grammy-winning soundtrack to the 2011 film Hugo. ∙ She was nominated for seven honors at the 2014 World Music Awards, including World’s Best Female Artist, World’s Best Live Act, and World’s Best Album (Recto Verso). ∙ After the triple-Platinum success of her 2014 LP, Paris, she won Best International Rock/Pop Female Artist at the 2015 ECHO Awards. ∙ When Kelly Clarkson decided to record her 2020 single “I Dare You” in six different languages, she picked Zaz to sing on the French-language version, “I Dare You (Appelle Ton Amour).”
