Vancouver's Bear Mountain make atmospheric indie electronic dance music that touches upon such varied genres as R&B, house, and melodic pop. Originally the online solo project of electronic singer/songwriter Ian Bevis, Bear Mountain expanded to a full band before the release of their 2013 full-length debut, XO. When performing, the group mixes live instrumentation with their electronic sounds in a set that also includes visuals from the band's creative director, artist Kenji Rodriguez. ~ Matt Collar
