About MØ

Danish singer, songwriter, and producer MØ established herself as a sought-after collaborator before breaking through as a solo artist. • MØ was first drawn to music at age seven through the Spice Girls before pivoting to punk and indie rock—especially Sonic Youth—as a teen. • She was 18 when she began releasing music under various names, including a three-song EP in 2006 as The Edmunds and, with her friend Josefine Struckmann Pedersen, two EPs as MOR. • MØ released her debut single, “Glass,” in 2013, though she was initially better known for songwriting and vocal contributions to artists including Avicii (“Dear Boy” in 2013) and Iggy Azalea (“Beg for It” in 2014). • Her first full-length album, 2014’s No Mythologies to Follow, ranged from torchy ballads to dance-ready anthems. The album reached No. 2 on the charts in MØ’s native Denmark. • MØ’s second album, 2018’s Forever Neverland, included collaborations with Charli XCX, What So Not, Two Feet, and Empress Of.
