About Waxahatchee

Waxahatchee is an introspective and reflective indie act initially founded by Alabama native Katie Crutchfield as a solo project. ∙ The first release Crutchfield made with other musicians, 2013’s Cerulean Salt, appeared on the Top 100 albums of the 2010s lists compiled by Rolling Stone and Pitchfork. ∙ Prior to forming Waxahatchee, Katie Crutchfield played in multiple bands with her twin sister, Allison, including an influential feminist pop-punk band called P.S. Eliot that reunited in 2016. ∙ Waxahatchee has had two albums reach No. 1 on Billboard’s Heatseekers Albums chart: 2015’s Ivy Tripp and 2020’s Saint Cloud.
