About Huskii

Australian rapper Huskii bravely and openly reveals his inner battles through his music. Born in 1992, the Wollongong MC has made it a point to be upfront about his personal challenges. In the mid-2010s, during the rise of the lo-fi SoundCloud rap scene, Huskii found his voice, uploading vulnerable DIY tracks to the platform. He would release his debut album, Barely Awake and Paranoid, in 2016, showcasing his natural ability to flip between moments of introspection and isolation, as evidenced by the mercurial title track. In 2017, Huskii released the Brainumb EP, which was highlighted by “Sadboy,” a deeply honest take on his broken relationships with family members and romantic partners. Huskii delved further into his tribulations on the sparsely produced 2019 track “Suicideboy.” The following year, Huskii dropped Recalled, which saw him expressing his frustrations toward the harsh realities of life, all the while refusing to be defeated.
