About Kill it Kid

Drawing on influences that range from Delta blues and ragtime to hard-hitting indie and classic rock, bluesy British post-grunge/Americana outfit Kill It Kid have drawn comparisons to bands like the White Stripes, My Morning Jacket, Kings of Leon, and the Black Keys. Formed in 2008, the Bath-based quartet recorded its debut EP in 2008 with PJ Harvey and Eels producer John Parish. The songs eventually caught the ear of One Little Indian Records, who signed Kill It Kid the following year and put out their eponymous full-length debut. After sophomore album Feet Fall Heavy arrived in 2011, the band inked a deal with Sire/Warner and began work on its third long-player. The resulting You Owe Nothing dropped in September 2014. ~ James Christopher Monger
