About Feed Me
Jon Gooch—the DJ and producer who records under the name Feed Me—rose to the top of the electro-house and dubstep scene on the strength of adventurous, beat-first dance-floor bangers. Born in 1984 in Hertfordshire, England, Gooch first dabbled in drum ’n’ bass under the moniker Spor at the start of his music career in the mid-2000s. His transition to Feed Me involved remixes of songs by artists such as Muse, Gorillaz, and Robyn, as well as his own music, like 2008’s slippery electro single “Raw Chicken” on deadmau5’s label. Since then, Gooch has continued to redefine Feed Me’s sonic boundaries thanks to collaborations—highlighted by 2012’s pop-leaning “Love Is All I Got” with Crystal Fighters and 2014’s electro summit “Far Away” with Kill the Noise —and musical evolutions such as 2022’s “Feeling So Free,” a throwback to soulful, disco-kissed house.
