About The Bloody Beetroots

Bloody Beetroots is the nom-de-studio of Italian producer Bob Rifo, who teams up with DJ Tommy Tea for live performances. Rifo's first big project had been the electro-punk Bob Rifo's Gang, which morphed into the more danceable, DJ-driven Bloody Beetroots in 2007. Their aggressive and frenetic live show--replete with masks--and prolific string of remixes made them an immediate success, first with fellow producers and DJs like Martin Solveig and Steve Aoki (who signed the BB's to his label Dim Mak), and then with electro fans when the duo toured the U.S. in 2008. Their concurrent debut EP was roundly lauded.
