Breton

About Breton

Breton are a London-based indie music collective with a focus on D.I.Y. culture, multimedia, and audio/visual experimentalism. Founding members Roman Rappak and Adam Ainger first began playing together in 2007 and were later joined by Ian Patterson and Daniel McIlvenny. In addition to writing and recording their own urban-electronic and dub-influenced rock music, the bandmembers involved themselves in a variety of outside collaborations. Beginning with 2010's Practical EP, they released three more EPs before signing with Fat Cat, which issued Breton's debut LP, Other People's Problems, in 2012. Though the band spent much of that year on tour, they released two more EPs in 2013. War Room Stories followed in 2014. ~ Timothy Monger
