Innocence

About Innocence

Comprising brother/sister combination Mark and Anna Jolley (guitar and vocals, respectively), plus Brian Harris (percussion), Mattie (synthesizer) and Phil Dane (production) - although Gee Morris also featured heavily on their debut album. Innocence scored a UK Top 20 hit in March 1990 with ‘Natural Thing’, a good part of the notoriety surrounding the release caused by one of the mixes featuring a sample of Pink Floyd’s ‘Shine On You Crazy Diamond’. They subsequently released ‘Silent Voice’, ‘Let’s Push It’ and ‘A Matter Of Fact’ (all 1990), ‘Remember The Day’ (1991), ‘I’ll Be There’, ‘One Love In My Lifetime’ and ‘Build’ (all 1992), which all charted but failed to reach the Top 20.
