The band formerly known as Take Two have come a long way from the university covers group that debuted in 2012. Following the departure of Johnathan Lim, their M1LDL1FE revamp brought with it lush electronic sensibilities with a darker, dancier edge. Their 2017 self-titled EP showcased a wilder side as the remaining quartet upped the play factor with a mishmash of crunchy synths, reverb-heavy vocals and undercurrents of percussion—an electrifying sound that has rendered M1LDL1FE one of the most exotic and versatile acts on the Singaporean scene.
