In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I distinctively remember my first "real" concert performance with my Dad, Jeff Ledson. We opened for the Brothers Comatose in Auburn, CA. Ismay was also on the bill. Those bands were riding on horseback to a stretch of shows & this was the last one. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “The Bend” I wrote this song in the spirit of Yonder's sheriff trilogy. It was a fun story to tell about life on the run. We still perform it regularly in my band, Broken Compass Bluegrass and you can find a live version on BCB's album, "Live Picks Volume One." What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? There are so many amazing moments playing music with my heroes. One that will stick with me for a long time was 2022 when I was asked to play mandolin for Yonder Mountain at the Hangtown Music Festival. We played a late night & main stage set. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? The bucket list is deep- more of a barrel. I hope to get a lot of travel in w/ this musical career. Can't wait to see new places & meet new fans. It's a special gift as a musician. Also, picking w/ my heroes like Billy Strings & Chris Thile..
