O-Town

About O-Town

The formation of teen pop group O-Town was documented in 2000 by the MTV reality series Making the Band. Co-created by teen pop impresario Lou Pearlman, the former manager of Backstreet Boys and *NSYNC, Making the Band ensured that O-Town amassed a legion of fans before the group released a single. Highlighted by a pair of Top Ten U.S. pop hits -- "Liquid Dreams" and "All or Nothing" -- the group's self-titled debut album, issued in 2001, went platinum. The group split after a significantly less successful follow-up the next year, but reunited the following decade and continued to perform and record for an independent label. ~ Andy Kellman
