About Postindustrial Poets

In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Listening to Tom Waits'' Swordfishtrombones in a friend's flat in Rome Italy was a revelation for me (Pete - I write the songs). I loved the way he told stories, and the way the music kept taking you by surprise. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Buddy Guy, Blues Singer Marvin Gaye, What's Going On The Black Keys, El Camino Hard to choose: but What's Going on - just a work of smooth, committed genius! El Camino - just a triumphant gripping album, from a band we love. Buddy Guy - not a typical album from him. Sort of polished but down home at the same time! Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “It Didn't Feel Like the End of the World” I wrote this in Liverpool, all in a rush, and we recorded it a couple of weeks later. It's a short, rocking song that feels to us that it has a lot in it. A pop punk vibe BUT with slide guitar, a lyric about love AND climate change. Take a listen!
