Necesito Decirte

Necesito Decirte

Necesito Decirte was one of Conjunto Primavera’s first albums to be embraced in the U.S. Though it kicks off with the ’50s R&B-influenced stroll of the title track, their signature conjunto stomp is never far away. The blend of Felix Contreras’ accordion blasts and Juan Dominguez’s spicy sax licks helps put plenty of punch into uptempo tunes like “Sin Conocerte” and “Negra Cruz.” And when they slow down for a cut like “No Le Ruegues,” Tony Melendez’s passionate vocals really sell the song.
