Everfound

Everfound

After a series of independently released projects, Everfound makes its major-label debut with a self-titled album that brims with energy and bristles with hooks. The band—featuring four Russian-born brothers now living in Colorado—has polished its Christian pop/rock sound to a fine edge that holds obvious radio appeal. Most importantly, Everfound addresses issues of faith with palpable optimism, looking heavenward while reaching out to lost souls on Earth. Siblings Nikita, Ruslan, Yan, and Illarion Odnoralov merge voices seamlessly on Spirit-infused anthems like “Go,” “Count the Stars," and “God of the Impossible.” The galvanizing “Unless”—featuring a vocal interlude in Russian—is a particular standout. Driving rockers (“Hurt”), expansive power ballads (“What Love Means”), and slinky, blues-tinged numbers (“Somewhere New”) explore the band’s creative perimeters. The lyric testimony here is compassionate and unequivocal, whether the words offer hope (“Never Beyond Repair”) or celebrate redemption (“We Are Alive”). This is one of the year’s Christian music highlights.
