Hoodie Allen knows what he does well. As a rapper, his greatest skill is on display here: creating infectious anthems. The handclap-heavy beat of “Sushi” is an undeniable floor-filler, particularly in combination with the track’s catchy chorus. “All My Friends” features pop-punk outfit State Champs, playfully straddling the genre line with a chunky earworm hook. But it’s not all a party: “Runnin’ Circles” is as close as Hoodie gets to a ballad, lamenting his hustle and reminiscing about calmer hours.
